Read further to discover a simple strategy that will serve to organize your schedule save time and increase productivity. Organizing Your Kitchen Means An Improved Life
Your kitchen probably serves as a meeting room, a place to have meals, and a place to just hang out. The kitchen is the focal point in most homes.
If everything is kept organized then locating items later on becomes easier, finances won’t suffer along with your credit, and life in general will be a lot less stressful.
Credit card control: To help control credit card debt, try keeping a written tally of your balances on a small sticky note inside the checkbook register that you use to pay the bill with. That way every time you try to spend money out of your checking account or use your credit card, you will have a quick reminder of how much money you owe on your next upcoming credit card bill.
Creating a budget: Organize your finances and keep track of your money by creating a budget plan. Having a budget will help you see your total financial picture, keep your finances under control, make better financial decisions and reach your financial goals. If you are on a tight budget this is an absolute must!!! If you are on a more comfortable budget, this can help you improve it even more! You can do this on your computer, and/or print it out and update it regularly. If you have a specific debt you are trying to pay off, make it a goal each month; and write yourself a note of who to pay and how much.
Budgets are a great idea for kids as well. If your kids earn an allowance and are saving their money for a certain item, a budget can help them understand how long it will take.
School work: If you save a lot of school work from your children, purchase boxes or create files for each year and each child. Mark each paper with the date it was done, where it was done and what grade he/she was in (if that information is important to you). Then place all school work in their file or in one large box or plastic container for that child. It also helps to go through the paperwork with your child and toss out ones you do not want anymore every few months or every school year. Just make sure you are not throwing out something you will regret later. I limit my children to one 20-gallon container. If it can’t all fit in that one container, then it is time for them to go through it again and decide what is worth keeping and what should be thrown out. Hint: For larger bulkier projects, take a picture of the child holding it and save the picture instead of the project.
Schedule time and chores: Put kids on a schedule and have it written down on paper so it is clear to each child what the rules are and what is expected of each child.
